By far my favorite yogurt vape, Star Drops is a perfect blend of ripe strawberries and creamy vanilla yogurt. To me, this is the star of the Maximum Velocity (Max VG) line from Moon Mountain.
I was turned on to Moon Mountain by my friend Andrew Jensen (from The Raw Deal program, Thursday nights on TROVE Live), a Tampa area resident who is lucky enough to call Moon Mountain “his local B&M”. I’ve had several of their delicious flavors, and Star Drops is just barely my favorite (over Cap’n Jax, which I will review soon, after restocking). The strawberries are perfectly balanced with the creamy yogurt on exhale – these are ripe, just picked summer strawberries, not a strawberry “Jolly Rancher” or other sweet candy. I’m normally a big fan of custards, but the yogurt in this Max VG e-juice is matched very well with the berries – it doesn’t need graham crackers or whipped cream to balance out an overpowering custard flavor like many other strawberry custard vapes do.
Vapor production is excellent as it is with all of the Maximum Velocity flavors I’ve tried. There is pleasantly very little throat hit from a 6mg nicotine strength. This as an extremely enjoyable all-day vape. Star Drops is available in 15ml, 30ml, and 100ml glass bottles with integrated child-proof caps. I mainly drip Moon Mountain e-Juice, but it also worked quite well with my Goliath RTAs.
Disclaimer: I purchased this bottle of juice at the Miami Vapor Expo at a discounted show price (where 1$ from every purchase was donated to the Florida Smoke Free Association – check these great folks out here: http://www.flsmokefree.org/) and received no compensation whatsoever for this review.
It is not my first bottle of Star Drops, nor will it be my last… Next time, 100ml…:)
