Detroit Underground Juice Collective’s Calumet Theatre – Peanut Butter and Caramel Bliss (6MG)

In my experience, it’s nearly impossible to find a great peanut butter vape.  Sadly, it’s one of my favorite flavors.

Then I stumbled upon Calumet Theatre.  Described on the label as “whipped peanut butter and caramel”, Calumet doesn’t disappoint one bit.  It’s a relatively complex vape that I would love to save for dessert but I find myself going back to it over and over throughout the day.  The predominant peanut butter flavor is very well balanced with the caramel and there are hints of a graham cracker crust as well.  It’s like a perfectly smooth peanut butter has been expertly whipped with cream or Cool Whip, placed into a graham cracker shell, and had a wonderful caramel sauce drizzled overtop…and this delightful treat is then placed on an all-you-can-eat buffet.  You need seconds.  And thirds.  And more…

A juice this delicious has to be a premium, $0.50+/ml juice, right?  Not Calumet Theatre.  Distributed through Detroit’s Independent Vapor Company, it retails for $37 for a 120ml bottle – with free shipping.  This is an amazing deal for what can easily become a peanut butter fan’s all-day-vape.

There is a pleasing throat hit with the 6mg variety – not overpowering but definitely and satisfyingly there.  Vapor production is excellent as expected from a 70+% VG juice.  DUJC is labeled as “Max VG” – no PG other than what is in the flavorings is added to the juice.  Flavor is sweet perfection.  Calumet Theatre is hand-crafted in small batches in Michigan, steeped for at least one month prior to shipment, and is available in attractive 120ml glass bottles.  These are very DIY-friendly after you quickly run out of your delicious DUJC treat.

Disclaimer:  I purchased this juice for the first time in an NYAVG Group Buy at a discount.  My second bottle (which is evaporating as quickly as the first one did) I lucked into via trading a Mutation Xv4 RDA to someone who had gone from 6MG to 3MG.  I received no compensation whatsoever for this review.

Rating:  ˜˜7 (out of 7) stars.  Simply Outstanding. Serious ADV Material.

What is the one most people order. I purchased River Raisin and was not impressed with the flavor at all. It tasted kind of purfumey with maybe a little bit of blue raspberry mixed in and I did not tast any of the cotton candy. I was very disappointed exspecially having spent $37 on it at my local Wild Bills store. I don’t want to give up on the company just yet because I believe everyone deserves a 2nd chance. I’ve been spending around $41 a week between juice and filters and I liked the fact that I’ve herd all good things about them and then the bigger bottles was like putting iceing on the cake for me. Any information about any other company’s and their best juices are welcomed.
    Thanks a lot.

That is one I have not tried yet…I have had a couple of their flavora and Calumet Theatre was definitely my favorite. Paulding Light is quite nice also… what type of device are you using and what is your normal “ohm” level? What is your favorite type of flavor? (Fruity, Bakery, Tobacco Blends, etc.)
